Elton’s Mad… Madonna’s WINNING!!!

There has been a fire-ball of distain burning within Elton John for years now, and it shows no signs of subsiding any time soon. It appears that as long as Madonna keeps (in Charlie Sheen’s infamous word) ‘WINNING’, then Elton will remain mad and ready for a fight. Sir Elton John keeps fueling this on-going feud and entertainment reporters with his hateful banter. On the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards, January 15th, 2012 , Elton made rash comments to interviewer Carson Daley stating how slim Madonna’s chances of winning were for the best original song in a motion picture category. He said, she doesn’t have a “f*****g chance.” Carson referred to his statement as “fighting words.” Elton corrected him and said, “no they’re accurate words.”

And the Golden Globe goes to…. Madonna!

Elton’s husband, David Furnished, then voiced his disapproval of Madonna’s win and “narcissistic” acceptance speech on his facebook page.

This feud began with Madonna’s Best Live Act nomination in October of 2004 for Britain’s Q Magazine Awards. Elton John lashed out then saying this award should not go to one who charges big money for show tickets then lip sings. He did publically apologize weeks later, however it was not sincere because in 2005 he was heard calling Madonna a “miserable cow.” Madonna retaliated by not showing up to Elton & David’s wedding bash after being invited multiple times, according to http://news.softpedia.com.

Madonna continues to dismiss Elton and David. She has stated that she doesn’t feel bad, and the talanted Elton will soon win again.

Nail Polish… Secret Revealed!!

I tend to receive compliments wherever I go. My intentions are to be anything but flashy, and I am far from an attention seeker. However, when I’m at work, in the market, or the mall, everyone wants to know the polish I use and who makes it! Well here’s my secret…

This OPI polish is so smooth and has such a polished finish. My color changes from week to week, however the brand stays the same. I love their many different OPI shades of pink from hot, light, pastel to dulled pinks. They all shine!

When my nail technician says “pick a polish” she already knows what I go for and has marked my recent favorite with white paint on the bottom of the jar.

New Year, New You… Resolve To Make It Come True!!

At the ends of every year a large number of us begin reminiscing and reevaluating our lives as well as the year that has just passed by. From this, resolutions are often times birthed. However cliché they are, I believe the New Year’s Resolution is quite powerful. I like to think of them as self-fulfilling prophecies.
