Spring 2013 Nail Trend Report: Could Nail Polish be the New Mood Ring?
Its March and the month is beginning like a roaring lion that should end as gentle as a lamb. Even though its cold outside, I have been driven to spend time changing my nail polish. I’m finding that (meaning the nail polish)is able to reflect my mood and also be a great conversation starter! I’m finding that I’m changing polish to fit my moods! The colors of Black and white are wardrobe staples. I remember when I purchased a gray and black, striped dress from Forever 21-excuse me XXI, and someone said I looked like Freddy Krueger. Now a Spring 2013 trend will have us looking more like criminals-burglars. I would purchase a shirt or pair of pants altough I think thick black and white lines can be a little bit overwhelming. So, be sure to mix these trend with a color to break it up.
Why did burglars wear stripes anyway? I did some research, of course, I found out in the 1950′s and 1960′s, comic burglars wore black and white stripes to symbolize prison outfits, but not literally while committing burglary-that would be way too obvious.
