As the snow begins to melt in the East, stores are rushing to display their newest 2010 resort collections. I have heard many shoppers ask, “Why are shorts being displayed when it is 30 degrees outside?” Let’s imagine that in the middle of January, your significant other decides to surprise you with a getaway to the Virgin Islands, where do you begin to find clothing? That is when you refer to resort fashion. Several stores, such as Ann Taylor Loft, are offering bright and colorful pieces using lightweight materials like linen and cotton in order to offer a comfortable and fashion ready experience for your vacation.
