Fashion is Creativity
Unfortunately, many of the retail professionals at Bergdoff Goodman know my name. I love to shop. After buying some staple items, I realized that it’s not about how much you spend. Fashion and style is about your confidence and creativity at any price point. Your closet is in essence a network of clothes. Yes, buy the latest fashion trends like your neon, Prada pumps or your J Brand floral jeans, but also buy items that will transcend seasons and decades: the timeless black pencil shirt, the well-taliored white blouse, etc. Why break the bank for items that you can only wear once or twice? New York City is one of the fashion meccas of the world. Therefore, take time to piece together your wardrobe. I love H&M, Zara, and Top Shop; however you want to buy quality pieces – that if you care for them properly, they will last a lifetime. Stores like Century 21 and Daffy’s have racks and racks of essential, wardrobe items at discounted pieces. All you have to do is open your mind and take the time, of course. Then, you will have a closet of chosen items that you can mix and remix to create your styled, masterpiece for each day.
