VH1 Basketball Wives
The majority of the women that @goodgirlpr & @djnickiee follows on Twitter are college, educated career women. All of them despise the Basketball Wives. How ironic lol? As you know, average people believe anything and everything that they see on television ( a.k.a. propaganda lol), and the show just makes woman of color look very uncivilized. Does Shaunie O’neal have allegiance to the portrayal of women who look just like her or to the “almighty” dollar bill? I think it’s the latter. Don’t forget that the network only cares about money. Molding the malleable minds of little, brown girls is not their concern. Although I respect the people behind the petitions and boycotts, I think their efforts will be fruitless. I just know how business works. I think the less we discuss the show and tweet about it, the more people will not be so inclined to watch or talk about it.
