*UPDATED* Chad Johnson Arrested for Domestic Violence [Mugshot Inside]
On this Saturday night drama is brewing down in the Sunshine State. Miami Dolphin Chad Johnson has been arrested on a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence against “Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada. According to NFL.com, “Police said Johnson head-butted his wife in the head during an argument while driving home from dinner. She was treated at the scene for a “pretty good-sized” laceration and later taken to the hospital.” Captain Dale Engle of Davie (Florida) Police Department reported that the argument began when Chad discovered a receipt for condoms in the vehicle.
Johnson denied that domestic violence had taken place and explained to police that the couple accidentally knocked heads during the argument. For now, Johnson is in custody and will not be released until his bail hearing is set. The hearing could possibly be as late as Monday.
Johnson and Lozada were married last month on Independence Day. I wonder if this is going to be on their show, “Ev and Ocho,” that premieres next month?
