I am always looking for trends. They seem to consume when you as a New Yorker, staring you in the face as you stroll down crowded sidewalks. Bam! The Peplum top.  I haven’t seen a page dedicated to the peplum top in Elle or InStyle quite yet, but I have grazed a few pinterest posts, searched for the leather H&M top to no avail, and saw a Hollywood starlet rocking a sleeveless, royal blue Peplum top from Anthropologie.

The fact is you don’t have to be couture to be Peplum! Here are our HAUTE picks of varying price points:

You have to own a white peplum top, of course. For some reason, I am envisioning this with a cropped leather jackets.  Thoughts?:
