I think I am falling for Solange. Actually, her new music video and song Losing You has got me completely gone. Solange has returned to the music game with a bang thanks to this Melina Matsoukas directed video. Solange sings of a fizzling relationship over a ridiculously contagious beat produced by Dev Hynes. Toe tapping and head nodding is inevitable when this track is playing.

Not only is the song catchy, the video is definitely a good time. Solange enjoys partying and drinking, bike riding around Cape Town, and swimming with friends all while making bold fashion statements. Styled by Ty Hunter, Solange and her friends rock bright colors, mixed prints, and major accessories. It gives me a flashback to Solange’s Madewell campaign…on steroids.

Solange has definitely solidified her spot as one of the coolest chicks in music. Les Sapeurs, Kenzo, big hair, South Africa, perfectly tailored suits, majorettes, a massive stack of mattresses, jumping in the pool with your clothes on, J. Crew and Solange’s random dancing, all in one video? If that is not cool then I don’t know what is.
